Edgewood Eats on Memorial Day

We started off Memorial Day last week by visiting the teenager and grabbing some burgers and a piece of apple pie from Nation’s.

Never been there before; the food pretty much hit the spot.

We also checked out Edgewood Eats for the first time, a gourmet food truck meet-up in nearby Palo Alto, that debuted last September.

We arrived right at the start time.

BBQ Kalbi.

Butterscotch on the Go.

Old Port Lobster Shack Mobile.

Tikka Bytes.

MoGo BBQ.

Little Green Cyclo.

Chairman Bao.

Armadillo Willy’s.

Even though we got there just after the start time, there were already long  lines at some of the food trucks.

While wifey got in one of the lines, the toddler and I roamed around some. He spotted his own favorite truck – a good, ol’ fashioned ice cream and candy truck.

We got a couple of items from Little Green Cyclo:

Rice vermicelli with tofu.

Five Spice Grilled Chicken Banh Mi.

By the time we left, Edgewood Eats was definitely thriving. I loved seeing families setting up beach chairs and having a great time.

We’ll certainly be back.

Always Grateful,

~Andy

  1. Your family outings always look so lovely! I didn’t know there were that many foodtrucks outside LA.

Yeah, it seems that SF and the East Bay were about a year behind LA’s foodtruck scene, which means that my neck of the woods is about 2 years behind. Better late than never!
