The following is a round up of the 2013 SF Beer Week events set to take place at Original Gravity Public House in downtown San Jose, culled from Original Gravity bar manager and event coordinator Rob Monroe and their Facebook events pages as well as the SF Beer Week 2013 website.

Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, 1 p.m. – 10 p.m.: Firestone Walker Firkin/XVI Anniversary Night

Tapping 3 firkin kegs from Firestone Walker on our back patio! Also tapping the XVI Anniversary inside as well. We will have their rep Antoine in the house and should be getting some specialty beers for this one. Definitely not to be missed!

Sunday, Feb. 9, 2013, 5 p.m. – 10 p.m.: Bay Area Brewers Featuring Almanac and Calicraft

Come celebrate SF Beerweek with Almanac (SF) and Calicraft (Walnut Creek) at Original Gravity Public House. We will be featuring some limited release and specialty beers on tap from both breweries as well as hosting the brewers. Come on out and let’s support the Bay!

Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, 12 p.m. – 10 p.m.: Deschutes Tap Takeover

Deschutes will be in the house taking over a large portion of our 25 rotating taps. We will be bringing in some fantastic selections from the brewery and tapping the infamous 2012 Abyss. Bryan from Deschutes will be hanging with us as well so come out and drink the finest brews from Bend, Oregon’s fantastic brewery.

Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, 4 p.m. – 10 p.m.: Lagunitas Event

What’s that you say? You love Lagunitas? Well so do we, immensely in fact. The ever so lovable Rudy Kuhn will be in house representing Petaluma’s greatest drinkable export. Definitely gonna be rocking something special that evening so this event is a must.

Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, 12 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.: Pucker Up! Valentine’s Day Sour Tap Takeover

Love is in the air on Valentine’s Day as we present to you a wide array of fantastic sour beers to make you pucker up! Date or not this event will definitely turn the most cynical lovers day haters hearts to pure romance. Featuring 15 varieties from different producers this will be a great way to experience this incredible style of beer.

Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, 12 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.: San Diego Breweries Specialty Release Night

Featuring some of San Diego’s finest breweries: Ballast Point, Stone, Karl Strauss, Alesmith, Port Brewing, Lost Abbey, Green Flash.
