Ozapft is! It is tapped!

Today kicks off the official 16-day Munich Oktoberfest, and in honor of Oktoberfest, a one-of-a-kind celebration begins at Steins Beer Garden & Restaurant in downtown Mountain View (895 Villa Street).

Starting today, September 21, through October 6, Steins Beer Garden features one of the largest German beer tap takeover events that the Bay Area has seen, replacing all 31 of their taps with authentic German beers for the occasion.

Joining the German beer tap list is a menu featuring traditional German fare prepared by executive chef Colby M. Reade. The limited-time only menu includes Spaetzle with brown butter and sage, Schnitzel with dill potatoes and marinated pork loin, and Jagerschnitzel with warm bacon and potato salad.
