Spread Deli & Bottles Celebrates 1-Year Anniversary

Downtown Campbell’s Spread Deli & Bottles opened last July to the delight of many South Bay food and beer fans thanks, in particular, to Spread’s tasty signature sandwiches and side dishes, the casual vibe and the beer selection from 10 taps and over 200 bottles.

To commemorate the one-year anniversary, Spread is hosting an anniversary party on July 2 from 5pm to 10pm. There will be special sandwiches, happy hour prices on all draft beers and wines and 40 percent off all bottles of beer and wine.

“The support from the community and customers is amazing,” says co-owner Charlie Mann, who opened Spread with Jordan Trigg. “We can’t believe it has been a year already. It seems like we opened yesterday.”

The brewery lineup includes Lagunitas, Drake’s, CaliCraft, Hermitage, 21st Amendment, Anchor, Deschutes and Stone, and starting at 6pm, raffle drawings will take place every half hour with chances to win brewery swag, gift cards, and a brewery tour.

Despite an already loyal local following, Mann and Trigg are continuing to expand offerings at Spread.

“We still have to build out our full bar counter, and look for more taps in the near future,” Mann says.

After a successful Saturday beer tasting event with Ballast Point Brewing event last month, Spread is continuing with more tasting events every Saturday from 3pm to 6pm. Tastings include four or five beers beers, and the tasting fee is waived with the purchase of a brewery’s six pack.

Happy hour remains a good deal: Mondays through Saturdays from 3pm to close featuring select draft beers for $3.99 and draft wines for $4.99.
