The 43rd Annual Mountain View Art & Wine Festival takes place Sep. 6 and 7 along Castro Street in downtown Mountain View. The times are 10am – 6pm both days, and admission is free.

In recent years, Tied House (954 Villa Street, Mountain View) has brewed a special batch for this festival. This year’s beer is Tied House California Common, a straw-colored, sessionable ale with a light malt and not-too-hoppy flavor – sure to be a perfect match for many while soaking in the warm 80-degree weather. Complementing the California Common on tap will be Tied House’s flagship beer, Cascade Amber.

Tied House also hosts their monthly Firkin Friday special today with a 5pm cask ale tapping of their Cascade Amber infused with strawberries.
