Scenes from Steins Cupertino, July 2017

A month after their grand opening, we finally had the chance to visit Steins Cupertino.

It was a special occasion for us, as it was the older kid’s birthday.

Such a warm and vibrant energy inside the restaurant.

And very cool features as well.

Some of the Steins crew, including bar manager Ryan Hummel (second from left) and front-of-the-house manager Gene Jun (third from left).

Cheers! With tasty cranberry mimosa.

Modern Times Black House w/ Coffee, Toasted Coconut & Cocoa Nibs Stout (Nitro).

Clown Shoes Mangö Kölsch.

The birthday kid with general manager Toby Yi.

House cut Kennebec fries.

Pork belly benedict: Poached egg, pork belly confit, house made biscuits, lemon hollandaise, country potatoes.

The remaining slider of three.

A special birthday treat.

These donuts were divine.

Bravo to the kitchen staff, including Executive Chef Colby Reade (left) and Chefs Angel (center) and Willie (right).

The food, service and vibe were all wonderful, and we’ll certainly be returning sooner than later.

It was a great way to celebrate the older kid’s birthday. He’s become quite the fine young adult, and we’re very proud of him.

Cheers! Prost! Gunbae!
