Roundup of San Jose and South Bay Breweries Amid Coronavirus Shutdowns, Mar. 23, 2020

Here’s a roundup of how some of our local breweries are dealing with the coronavirus (COVID-19)-related closures according to their recent newsletter and social media updates.

Some establishments are currently in 100% shutdown mode. Others, while also closed, are providing to-go beers (for pickup) and other offerings.

Due to frequent changes, please check with each establishment directly for the most up-to-date information.

Camino Brewing Company

Camino Brewing Company has beer available for pickup and delivery, as well as gift cards and donation opportunities to help support their staff, through their very well-constructed online shop. Beers can be purchased in cans, 4-packs, 24-packs, 32 oz. crowlers and 5 gal. kegs.

Clandestine Brewing

Clandestine Brewing is selling to-go crowlers of their beers, electronic gift cards and Secret Agent Club memberships, which can all be ordered online.

Faultline Brewing Company is closed until further notice.

Floodcraft Brewing Company

Per a recent call to 408-207-1126, the number to the Whole Foods Market on the Alameda, the Floodcraft Brewing Company taproom is closed until further notice.

Golden State Brewery

Golden State Brewery is selling their beers to go, filling cans, crowlers, growlers and kegs. Pickup times are 3-7pm daily, including the weekend.

Hapa’s Brewing Company

Hapa’s Brewing Company is selling crowlers and limited 4-packs of their beers for both pickup and delivery.

Visit the Hapa’s Brewing website, click on ‘SHOP’ tab and make your purchases online. They will not accept payment at their brewery.

Pickup days/hours:

  • Fridays: 3-8pm
  • Saturdays: 12-6pm
  • Sundays: 12-6pm

For delivery:

Hapa’s will deliver Saturdays and Tuesdays between 12-5pm. Delivery is only for San Jose, Willow Glen, Campbell, and Los Gatos until further notice.

Hermitage Brewing Company

Hermitage Brewing Company will be offering select Hermitage to-go beers in cans, bottles and kegs on Friday, March 27 from 4-7pm. Check out the flyer and send your orders to curbside@hermitagebrewing.com. The deadline for all orders is Thursday, March 26 at 10pm.

Loma Brewing Company

Strike Brewing Company

Both Strike Brewing Company taprooms (San Jose and Campbell) are selling to-go beers available for pickup on the following days and times:

  • Wednesday:  San Jose 12-4pm, Campbell 1-5pm
  • Thursday: San Jose only 12-4pm
  • Friday: San Jose 12-4pm, Campbell 12-4pm
  • Saturday: San Jose 12-4pm, Campbell 12-4pm
  • Sunday: San Joe only 12-4pm

Taplands Taproom, Bottle Shop & Neighborhood Brewery

Taplands will be open this coming weekend, March 28 and 29, for pickup of pre-filled crowlers and growlers.
