Fairmont San Jose Honey Harvest Celebration

Fairmont San Jose (170 S. Market St.) is celebrating its biggest seasonal harvest yet of their house honey – freshly harvested from the hotel’s rooftop beehives – with a special, limited time ‘Honey Harvest Menu.’

The special menu will be available in the Lobby Lounge this weekend only – Friday, Oct. 19 until Sunday, Oct. 21 from 5pm-10pm each day.

Andrea and I had the very good fortune recently of attending a menu preview.

Take a look.

Signature Cocktail

  • Fairmont Bees’ Knees – $12

Appetizers

  • South Tower Honey Glazed Chicken Skewers – $14

  • Crab Cakes with Honey Lemon Aioli – $16

Salad

  • Locally-Caught Salmon Salad with Fresh Berries and Smoked Honey Vinaigrette – $22

Desserts

  • Honey-Poached Lavender Pear Tart with Goat Cheese Ice Cream – $12

  • Honey Sponge Cake with Passion Fruit Mousse – $12

Each menu item was outstanding.

Put simply, our minds – and taste buds – were blown.
