Hi, and welcome to my blog, Grateful Hubby, where I’ve been keeping track of experiences and thoughts since Nov. 2009, many of which directly or indirectly revolve around how thankful I am for having such an awesome wife. But mostly, this blog is about always trying to make myself seem much better than I am in “real” life.

I’m a guy who’s mostly lived while wearing rose-colored glasses, though these days, thankfully, I’m much more with it.

The things that make me really happy? To list a few: my job, craft beer (my current passion), the South Bay food truck scene, the local art and wine (and related) festivals and events, and my family, of course.

So yes, my current passion is getting more knowledgeable about good beer, and with wifey’s blessing, I’m very much enjoying getting to know the craft beer scene in the San Jose area for the first time, so much so that I’m writing mostly about that on this blog and for Examiner.com as the San Jose Craft Beer Examiner.
