Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. Takeover Event at San Jose’s Whole Foods Market on The Alameda
A Sierra Nevada Brewing Company takeover event is set for 5pm-8pm, Fri., July 24 at Whole Food Market (777 The Alameda, San Jose). The event – dubbed “Decktoberfest” – will take place upstairs in the outdoor deck area, home to Whole Food’s Mission Creek Brewing Company.
Ryan Brown, Santa Clara Valley sales representative for Sierra Nevada, recently checked in with me to share the following tap takeover beer list:
- Pale Ale
- Torpedo (IPA)
- Hop Hunter (IPA)
- Southern Hemisphere Harvest Fresh Hop IPA
- Nooner (Pilsner)
- Wheat of the Moment
- Blue Baltic Porter
- Farmhouse Ale
- Hoptinite (Double IPA)
- Witbier with Grapefruit
- Lager (Oktoberfest)
- Barrel-Aged Bigfoot (Barleywine)
- Ovila Quad
- Common Around (Common)
- Barrel-Aged Ovila Tripel
Some of the special, limited Sierra Nevada beers to be tapped just for this event include Barrel-Aged Ovila Tripel and Common Around.
Ryan added, “They are only being served at this event and nowhere else during beer week, or ever again for that matter.”
