Beerwalk Presents Inaugural Ciderwalk in Santana Row
The team behind the Beerwalk series – including co-founders Jordan Trigg and Charlie Mann – are excited to present the first-ever Ciderwalk, taking place Wednesday, August 31 from 6pm to 9pm in Santana Row.
Ciderwalk will have the look and feel of a Beerwalk event. You’ll be able to stroll a local neighborhood – the Santana Row community in this case – and visit a variety of shops and restaurants while enjoying refreshing ciders – in lieu of beers – with other attendees.
Jordan recently shared with me how Ciderwalk came about:
“Since the start of Beerwalks – going on 5 years – we have always had 1 to 3 cider companies included in every walk. With the success of the Beerwalks, we are now receiving an overwhelmingly increasing amount of breweries requesting to participate, to the point we are turning away great breweries since every walk can only feature 20 to 25.
“In order to make more room for breweries we decided to no longer include cider companies in Beerwalks and instead create a walk dedicated solely to cider. Plus, we’re continuing to see the growing popularity of ciders. Thus, the Ciderwalk was born.”
Participating cider companies and tasting locations were recently announced.
