2nd Annual Hops ‘N Vine Festival & Market

The second annual Hops ‘N Vine Festival & Market takes place Saturday, March 10 from 2pm to 7pm in Pavilion Hall at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds (344 Tully Rd.).

The upcoming Hops ‘N Vine looks to build upon the success of last year’s inaugural event, which attracted close to 700 attendees according to Fairgrounds development manager Valerie Merklin.

Valerie shares that the Fairgrounds created Hops ‘N Vine to celebrate local wineries and breweries: “There is such a rich history of viticulture, growing hops, and wine and beer-making in Santa Clara County.”

Additionally, the Fairgrounds wanted another signature event that they could produce themselves to go along with the annual County Fair, which this year is set for August 2-5.

“Another unique feature is our Market, since we are able to sell wine and beer for off-site consumption. So if you taste something you like and the offering is available in bottles or in cans, you can purchase some to take home.”

There’s a free app available for download that’ll list the wines and beers being poured so attendees can make tasting notes throughout the event.
