Scenes from Camino Brewing Company, Plus Grand Opening Celebration

Camino Brewing Company, started up by owners Allen Korenstein and Nathan Poulos, is the latest brewery to open in San Jose (718 S. 1st St.).

We had the chance to stop by the brewery and taproom this past weekend.

Taproom manager Joanna Dunham poured a flight of four beers…

  • Cafe con Leche Reserve (chocolate, coffee)
  • La Rioja (tart cherry with a smooth, full mouthfeel)
  • Double Income 2 Cats (earthy, slight citrus)
  • Nubero Pale (clean, silky)

The taproom is a great space – bright and inviting.

After a soft opening launch last month, Camino Brewing Company officially opens its doors with a grand opening celebration set for Saturday, April 7 from 2 to 8pm.

Here’s their celebration lineup announced via Instagram:

  • 2-8pm: Beer Garden Food Trucks – Paddy Wagon Sliders and Los Jarochos Grill with turf, games and bucket set beer garden courtesy of Moveable Feast
  • 3:30pm: Ribbon Cutting with Mayor Sam Liccardo
  • 4:30pm-10pm: Live Music – Socorra (4:30pm), Israel Sanchez (5:45pm), Noah and the Arkiteks (7pm, Noah is also the singer from Melted State), Funkranomicon (8:30pm)

A hearty congrats to the Camino Brewing Company team on the opening!

Cheers! Prost! Gunbae!
