Scenes from Camino Brewing Company 1-Year Anniversary Party

San Jose’s Camino Brewing Company (718 S. 1st St.) celebrated their one-year anniversary earlier this month, with plenty of food, music and games, plus the release of a small number of bottled special anniversary barrel-aged beers.

We were able to stop by for a bit in the early afternoon.

A bunch of folks had already filled up the brewery and taproom.

There was also a great crowd outside.

From the Camino Brewing website:

Camino Brewing Company founders Nathan Poulos and Allen Korenstein dreamed up their vision of a craft beer company while cycling 1,900 miles across Europe, on the infamous Camino de Santiago pilgrimage trail. It was a mental, physical, emotional challenge that literally changed the direction of their lives…

Our beers are inspired by the flavors we discovered on the Camino, as well as those local to the San Jose area of California – a region rich with agricultural heritage. We aim to make the freshest, most drinkable and enjoyable beers you can find in the Bay.

Camino Brewing Barrel-Aged Ferryman Imperial Stout – sweet, chocolatey aroma and flavors with a very smooth mouthfeel. Delicious.

Congrats to Camino Brewing Company for reaching the one-year milestone!

Cheers! Prost! Gunbae!
