Scenes from the 5th Annual Cider Summit SF
We were very fortunate to be able to make it out to the 5th annual Cider Summit last month in the Presidio in San Francisco.
Arriving a bit early, we took a brief stroll nearby.
It was a picture-perfect day in the city, providing a perfect backdrop for this excellent, annual event.
Cider Summit co-founder Alan Shapiro gearing up for the day’s festivities.
It’s always wonderful catching up with beer pioneer – and local guy – Pete Slosberg.
South Bay favorite Red Branch Cider Company poured three of their ciders, including Intergalactic Space Modular, an off-dry blueberry cider.
It was immediately apparent that we needed to visit their Sunnyvale tasting room ASAP to enjoy more of this delicious cider, as well as their other offerings of course.
Well organized as usual, this year’s Cider Summit SF was – once again – simply awesome.
Thanks in large part to the Cider Summit festivals, our cider (and related) knowledge continues to grow, one tasty sip at a time.
Cheers! Prost! Gunbae!
