6th Annual Mountain View Oktoberfest
Steins Beer Garden & Restaurant and the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce present the sixth annual Mountain View Oktoberfest.
The festival takes place right behind the Steins Mountain View restaurant this weekend – Saturday, Oct. 6 and Sunday, Oct. 7 – beginning at 11am each day.
A quick peek at the weekend weather reveals a picture-perfect forecast.
A 7,000 sq. ft. Oktoberfest beer tent will once again serve as the focal point and will house live music courtesy of Alpiners USA, SF German Band and Big Lou’s Accordion Princess, as well as games and contests throughout the weekend.
Folks can purchase traditional Bavarian food and treats from Teske’s Germania Restaurant, Aroma Concessions and Gourmet Faire.
The free kids area will be larger than in previous years and will include jumpy houses, face painting, games and prizes.

Attendees must have a stein to purchase and consume alcohol. Commemorative steins are available for purchase, but you may also bring your own stein. Proper Identification verifying legal age is required.

Now through Sun., Oct. 7, both Steins restaurant locations in Mountain View and Cupertino are celebrating Oktoberfest with a special Oktoberfest dinner menu and $5 German beers.
