Scenes from The Cider Junction’s 1-Year Anniversary and Oktoberfest Celebration

We had a great time at The Cider Junction‘s Oktoberfest-themed 1-year anniversary celebration held last month.

Our cider flight:

  • 2 Towns Ciderhouse Pacific Pineapple (off-dry cider with Costa Rican golden pineapples)
  • South City Ciderworks End of the Rainbow (collaboration with The Cider Junction – off-dry cider with blackberry, lemon, thyme & butterfly pea flower)
  • Far West Cider Co. You Guava Be Kidding Me (off-dry guava cider)
  • Mission-Trail French Currency (plum jerkum aged for 20 months in French oak, Russian River Pinot Noir barrels, rested on 4-year-old Négrette port lees & black currants)

It was so interesting to taste the variety of offerings, each one having layers of distinct characteristics beyond just the appearance.

Caprese Salad and German Brats Plates:

Pretzel with Mustard:

All the plates were delicious.

Before awarding the raffle prizes, it was touching to see co-owner Claudia Derp become emotional about reaching the one-year milestone.

Then it was quickly time for Cider Junction co-owners Tracy Smith and Claudia to announce the raffle winners.

Yay! We were one of the winners!

Congrats to The Cider Junction on your one-year anniversary!

We wish you many more anniversaries.

Cheers! Prost! Gunbae!
