Strike Brewing Screaming Hand Imperial Amber Ale on tap at Il Fornaio in Palo Alto

Il Fornaio in Palo Alto (520 Cowper St.) is hosting its next special pairing event – a 5-course meal and beer pairing – on Saturday, April 21 from 5-8pm.

The menu is tapas style and features beers from San Jose’s Strike Brewing Company.

Course 1:

Fish & sweet chips with tartar sauce
Golden Ale Pacific Coast

Course 2:

Speck and brie with homemade sweet and spicy jelly jam
Rally Hat American Pale Ale

Course 3:

Swordfish tartar with onion, bell peppers, cilantro in soy, lemon, and sesame oil dressing served over a Belgian endive leave
Two Seam IPA

Course 4:

Homemade smoked roasted pork belly over a sliced fresh wild salmon
Double IPA

Course 5:

Profiteroles with cream and chocolate sauce
Screaming Hand Imperial Amber Ale
