Steins Beer Garden to Host Beer Pairing Dinner and Meet and Greet Featuring The Bruery and Founder Patrick Rue, Plus Scenes from Beer Dinner Preview Event

Steins Beer Garden & Restaurant is set to host two upcoming events featuring The Bruery out of Orange County.

The first event – a four-course, beer-and-food pairing dinner – takes place Thursday, July 5 at Steins Cupertino (10088 N. Wolfe Rd., Ste. 130). Guests are asked to arrive at 6pm as the dinner will start promptly at 6:30pm.

Patrick Rue, founder of The Bruery, will be in attendance to represent the brewery and introduce the beers.

The following day on Friday, July 6 at 6:30pm, the Steins location in downtown Mountain View (895 Villa St.) will host an informal meet-and-greet with Patrick and feature special appetizers and select Bruery beers.

As space is limited, interested folks are encouraged to make reservations for either or both events as soon as possible.

July 5 The Bruery Beer Dinner

Andrea and I recently visited the Steins Cupertino location for a sneak peek of the likely beer-and-food pairing menu created by Executive Chef Colby Reade.

Bruery Terreux Bouffon Witbier (Collaboration with Jester King Brewery).

Herb Blini – cherry jam, whipped crème fraiche, crispy salmon skin.

Steins Cupertino bar manager Craig Morrison introducing the beer.

Second course: Asparagus Salad – bulgar wheat, hydro crest, egg, berry tart ver jus, queso blanc. Paired with Bruery Terreux Frucht: Raspberry Berliner Weissbier.

Chef Reade introducing each dish.

Third course: Choice of…

Grilled Flank Steak – roasted whole grain mustard, pommes puree, cherry demi. Paired with Bruery Terreux The Wanderer Wild Ale.

Or…

Smoked Free-Range Chicken – sweet tea brine, stone fruit gastrique, corn-bacon stash.

Paired with The Bruery Girl Grey Belgian-Style Ale.

Chocolate pot de crème – fruit compote, mint chantilly, cookie. Paired with The Bruery Share This: Mint Chip Imperial Stout.

For the actual dinner event on July 5, Craig confirms that The Bruery Black Tuesday Imperial Stout Aged in Bourbon Barrels with Vanilla Beans will be on hand, replacing Share This: Mint Chip Imperial Stout.

The cost of the dinner is $65, excluding tip and taxes, and as previously mentioned, interested folks are encouraged to make reservations as soon as possible.

Cheers! Prost! Gunbae!
