7th Annual Mountain View Oktoberfest
The seventh annual Mountain View Oktoberfest is set for this coming weekend on both Sat., Oct. 5 and Sun., Oct. 6 beginning at 11am each day.
Presented by Steins Beer Garden & Restaurant and the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce, the event takes place in the vast parking lot behind the Steins Mountain View restaurant (895 Villa St.).
A 7,000 square foot Oktoberfest beer tent will once again serve as the event’s focal point, featuring communal tables, dancing and live music courtesy of The Alpiners USA, SF German Band and Big Lou’s Accordion Princess, a bevy of Bavarian food and treats from Teske’s Germania Restaurant, Aroma Concessions, Gourmet Faire and Steins, and contests galore, including stein holding, pretzel eating and beer belly.
A kids area includes jumpy houses, face painting, games and prizes. And a quick peek at the weekend weather reveals a picture-perfect forecast.

Attendees must have a stein to purchase and consume alcohol. Commemorative steins are available for purchase, but you may also bring your own stein. Proper Identification verifying legal age is required.

New to this year’s Mountain View Oktoberfest is the VIP Tent, featuring:

Oktoberfest Dinner Specials at Steins Beer Garden Mountain View
Enjoy Oktoberfest-inspired dinner specials at Steins Beer Garden Mountain View through Sun., Oct. 6, including Chicken Schnitzel, Sauerbraten, Currywurst, Spätzle, Pork Schnitzel, Rote Grütze (dessert of berries, vanilla anglaise, vanilla ice cream) and special beers and cocktails. These specials will be offered all day over the weekend (not just dinner). Note that the Steins Cupertino location will have a separate set of Oktoberfest specials.
