A much-belated but whole-hearted congrats to San Jose’s Clandestine Brewing for winning gold for their Agent Provocator in the ‘German-Style Doppelbock or Eisbock’ category at last year’s 2020 Great American Beer Festival.

You can enjoy this gold medal beer along with Clandestine’s other bock beers this weekend at their brewery – 980 S. 1st St., Ste. B – as they host a special ‘Bock Party’ Weekend featuring their annual ‘Blessing of the Bocks.’

More from their Facebook event page:

It’s a true blessing to be able to have people back onsite for our Bock Party Weekend, and Blessing of the Bocks this year!

Join us to celebrate spring like the Germans!

Bocks will be pouring while supplies last this weekend, Friday April 23rd through Sunday April 25th.

We will be holding the annual brief Blessing of the Bocks ceremony at 4pm, Saturday.

We have all four of our delicious bocks on tap:

  • Bocklash – our traditional German bock which we only release twice a year.
  • Codename: VW – a fresh batch of our Helles Weizenbock.
  • Agent Provocator – our delicious Dopplebock which won the 2020 GABF gold medal for Dopplebocks.
  • Maihem Maibock – this is the star of the event and the spring release of our delicious Maibock!
