Scott’s Seafood San Jose Hosts Wine Pairing Dinner Featuring Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars

It’s been quite some time since the South Bay has seen a restaurant present an official wine or beer pairing event.

Scott’s Seafood San Jose (200 S. First St., Suite 10) is set to break the dry spell as they will be hosting a wine pairing dinner on Tuesday, June 29 at 6pm, featuring Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars of Napa Valley.

The menu for the exclusive four-course dinner pairing was released yesterday:

First Course

  • Seared Blackened Ahi – watermelon, Fresno chile, soy ginger glaze, avocado
  • Paired with 2019 AVETA Sauvignon Blanc

Second Course

  • Roasted Beets and Strawberry Salad – honey roasted beets, strawberries, goat cheese, arugula, toasted almonds, orange cumin vinaigrette
  • Paired with 2018 KARIA Chardonnay

Third Course

  • “Surf and Turf” – filet mignon, butter poached lobster, asparagus, au gratin potatoes, langoustine béarnaise sauce
  • Paired with 2018 ARTEMIS Cabernet Sauvignon

Fourth Course (Dessert)

  • Lemon and Lavender Creme Brulee – toasted almonds, season berries, whipped cream
  • Paired with Prunotto Moscato
