Scott’s Seafood San Jose Hosts Wine Pairing Dinner Featuring Petroni Vineyards

Scott’s Seafood San Jose (200 S. First St., Suite 10) is set to host another special wine pairing dinner on Tuesday, Sep. 14 at 6pm, featuring Sonoma’s Petroni Vineyards.

Scott’s Seafood executive chef Sammy Reyes has crafted a surf and turf inspired, four-course menu:

First Course

  • Yellow Tail Crudo – Fresno chili, avocado, fresh grated ginger, watermelon radish, yuzu ponzu, wasabi greens
  • Paired with 2016 Petroni Chardonnay

Second Course

  • Heirloom Tomato Salad – Arugula, burrata cheese, balsamic glaze, basil oil, pistachios
  • paired with 2019 Petroni Rosato di Sonoma

Third Course

  • Surf & Turf – 6oz. sirloin steak with bordelaise sauce, 6oz. miso black cod, mushroom risotto with wild mushrooms, parmigiano cheese
  • Paired with 2015 Petroni Rosso di Sonoma

Fourth Course

  • Chocolate-Hazelnut Panna Cotta – Graham cracker crumbs, mixed berry compote with crème di cassis
  • Paired with 2014 Petroni Poggio alla Pietra Sangiovese
